Thank you to all of the generous donors to the Abwaan: Sponsor A Child’s Education campaign. JazakAllahu khairan for your contributions, it is truly appreciated.
We know it’s been a few months since our last update however we were hard at work ensuring each child received their funds and started attending school/quran school. Since the children live in different locations their starting dates were different.
Recap: We started our campaign in May, 2018. Our initial goal was to collect $860USD (for 5 children). Alhamdulilah we were able to raise more than that, we raised $1137.78 USD! (almost $300 more than we anticipated). With that being said, we decided to add an additional child to the roster.
Currently: We sent the funds to 4/6 of our kids Alhamdulilah.
Future plans: We are looking for 2 other children to send the remaining funds to, and we will keep you all informed on everyone’s progress.
